Snowdrops are one of my very favourite flowers. Even as a child, with zero interest in gardening, I loved snowdrops. They just seem so pure, you know?
Now I'm an avid gardener, the snowdrops indicate that warmer days will soon be upon us (as will the crocus)!
Imagine my delight this week (Jan 14th 2023), when I saw that they're on their way!
These are actually from bulbs I planted, the year before last. I had some "in the green" last year, but there's no sign of those yet!
I'm really looking forward to my birthday this year (Feb 11th), as I'll be visiting one of the National Open Gardens to see 600+ snowdrop varieties!
Tomorrow morning, I'm going for a local walk to see if they're out yet 🤞
