Lovely few hours outside on Saturday:
Cleared up my ferns, and got really excited to see the new fronds ready to unfurl!
Planted some lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis) underneath the arbour.
Moved some bulbs I'd put in the wrong place...
Sown Dierama blackbird. Also, got free seeds from Fothergills - California poppies and lettuce!
Sprinkled some foxglove seeds around in the wildflower patch, behind the arbour, and around the pond.
Super pleased to see that it IS damp enough to sustain the marsh marigold I took out of the pond last year when we were making it bigger!
Tomatoes are growing like billy-o. Evening Primrose have already popped up.
Fabulous way to spend a day!
